Dorset and Guernsey Flower Clubs

West Dorset Flower Club was formed in 1951 and has about sixty members at present. We are proud of the fact that we were the second club formed after Mrs Pope founded the first one in Dorchester. We have a varied programme during the year, mainly a visiting demonstrator and some practice afternoons, when members are hands on. We occasionally book a national demonstrator for an open meeting, when the general public are able to attend. Over the years the club has been successful at Chelsea Flower Show and the National and Area shows. We have also decorated many churches and arranged flowers for different local charitable events in the town.

The club is always happy to welcome visitors and especially new members.
