A Beautiful Basket of flowers from our Area Chairman, Sandra Taylor inspired by Liz Witcomb’s YouTube video.

This is BRITISH FLOWERS WEEK and Dorset & Guernsey Area are pleased to have released the second videoed demonstration in their Coronavirus series. In this video the popular Area Demonstrator Elizabeth Witcomb arranges a basket of British grown flowers. We hope that these videos help to keep you in touch with the flower arranging world and maybe inspire you to do some arranging yourself whilst you are unable to attend Club meetings. We were delighted to announce at Tuesday’s zoom Area Council meeting the launch of the Dorset & Guernsey Area YouTube Channel where the first video is now available to watch. This video, Carrie’s Lockdown arrangement, shares a floral design inspired by her garden flowers.

Carrie said ” During this difficult time when we are unable to meet, we want to keep in contact with our flower club members and other flower friends  and we felt this was something that we could be share. It’s been a steep learning curve for us in producing this video and we hope to make any future projects even more “polished”. We hope you will feel that this is a good first attempt! Enjoy.”
