On 6th November, Blandford flower club started their AGM meeting with a ploughman’s lunch at The United Reformed Church Hall, Blandford. There was a table quiz and a market stall of floral items. We are looking forward to next month when we welcome Pam Lewis, her title. We wish you a Merry Christmas!

At the AGM on Tuesday Pam Dutton was sincerely thanked for her time as President as she handed over the role and the badge to Annette Parker who was congratulated on becoming the next Area President. Irene Hickson has taken on the role of Vice President and was also presented with her badge of office. The business of the AGM was handled smoothly by Pam and Sandy Milne our Area Chairman.

Dorset & Guernsey members enjoyed sharing a lunch to celebrate the joint effort and support from across the Clubs of the Area leading to the success of a GOLD at the Chelsea Flower Show 2017.

 

Best in Show Exhibits. Dianne Pilliaert of Dorchester & Melcombe Regis in the class “Watership Down” at the Dorset County Show and Sandy Milne of Sturminster Newton’s exhibit “Wow” at the Gillingham & Shaftesbury Show. Congratulations to them both.
