Dorset & Guernsey Area held a virtual Annual Meeting via Zoom on 27th October 2020.
As the meeting was held via Zoom the meeting was limited to members of the Area Executive, Area Representatives, Area Associates of Honour and Chairman or Representatives of each club.

National Chairman’s Resignation, October 2020
It is with great sadness that I write to inform you that our National Chairman, Dr Christina
Curtis, has tendered her resignation this morning with immediate effect.
Recently, the loss of the Diamond events and the impact of the pandemic have added
immense pressures to the role of NAFAS Chairman. Christina has worked tirelessly for
NAFAS through her two-year period as Vice Chairman and the past 12 months as Chairman,
however the added pressures of the role have had an impact on Christina’s health and
wellbeing, and it is for these reasons that the Board and I have reluctantly accepted her
resignation.
I would like to acknowledge Christina’s dedication to NAFAS and hope that we can all meet
again soon in more socially easier and enjoyable circumstances.
As the recently elected Vice Chairman, I will step up and take on the role of Chairman and
work with my fellow Trustees to steer the Association to more prosperous times.
