Join me on this wonderful trip to southern Ireland to see beautiful gardens in springtime and meet the designers behind some of the country’s best known gardens.
We will visit Helen Dillon’s Garden, Powerscourt Estate, Hunting Brook Gardens, June Blake’s Garden and Kilmacurragh Botanic Gardens, and also be treated to a floral demonstration from NAFAS demonstrator Christine Hughes. Based for five nights at the 4* Ballsbridge Hotel in the centre of Dublin, you will also have plenty of time to explore the vibrant Irish capital.

“Floral Gallery is a new name. It has evolved from ‘Floristry and Floral Design Competition’ which saw its debut at the Show this year. We chose the name in part because we wanted to drop the word ‘Competition’, because, essentially, we saw the space this year as a collection of judged exhibits – a bit like the florals in the Great Pavilion, or the Gardens – rather than a competition in the traditional sense of the term.
The staging however will be the same, and the themes for next year continue to follow sustainable approaches to floral design / floristry.
We may tweak the judging criteria, and the staging regulations slightly, and if so I will send over updated, and we will update the forms contained in the link (below):

Congratulations to Madeleine Havell of Gillingham flower club whose design went forward to represent the Area in the National Challenge. Madeleine was awarded joint second place in the National Challenge.
