Dorset and Guernsey Flower Clubs

In 2025 we continue with our busy programme of demonstrations from both Area and National
Demonstrators planned for members and welcome visitors. The club holds monthly competitions for its
members with ‘workshop’ mornings on our meeting days for those members who enjoy being creative and
learning some new floral skills.
Our annual ‘Open Meeting’ will be held in the Mowlem Theatre on Thursday, 22nd May when we will be
welcoming Mark Entwistle from Cheshire. With over 35 years’ experience in the Floristry industry and a
past ‘Florist of the Year’, Mark has represented the UK at the Floristry World Championships in Paris and
won several gold medals at RHS Chelsea -including the award for Best Floristry Exhibit. Now a NAFAS
Demonstrator with the Cheshire Area and Freelance Floral Designer, Mark travels throughout the UK and
abroad demonstrating and teaching. We are delighted to welcome Mark to Purbeck Flower Club with his
demonstration ‘The Secret Life of Colour’ – it’s certainly going to be a great afternoon! Tickets will be

We are always happy to welcome new members and visitors, whether to sit back and enjoy an afternoon
of ‘floral delights’ or to bring your scissors and ‘have a go’.
