Two weeks seem to fly by and it’s now time for our fifth floral demonstration. Today we have “Two Quick Designs” by Elizabeth Witcomb. You can find the link on the button on our About the Area page.
In the weeks to follow we’re delighted to feature demonstrations from Allison Finch, Denise Jones and Julie Jeanes as well as Liz, Irene and Carrie.
We’ve got a super mix of designs so we hope there is something for everyone.

New YouTube Video release

This is BRITISH FLOWERS WEEK and Dorset & Guernsey Area are pleased to have released the second videoed demonstration in their Coronavirus series. In this video the popular Area Demonstrator Elizabeth Witcomb arranges a basket of British grown flowers. We hope that these videos help to keep you in touch with the flower arranging world and maybe inspire you to do some arranging yourself whilst you are unable to attend Club meetings. Dorset & Guernsey launch their YouTube channel with Lockdown video

We were delighted to announce at Tuesday’s zoom Area Council meeting the launch of the Dorset & Guernsey Area YouTube Channel where the first video is now available to watch. This video, Carrie’s Lockdown arrangement, shares a floral design inspired by her garden flowers.

Carrie said ” During this difficult time when we are unable to meet, we want to keep in contact with our flower club members and other flower friends  and we felt this was something that we could be share. It’s been a steep learning curve for us in producing this video and we hope to make any future projects even more “polished”. We hope you will feel that this is a good first attempt! Enjoy.”
